V FOS L55 is a food ingredient (liquid) consisting mainly of Fructo
oligosaccharides derived from enzymatic hydrolysis of sustainable
production sugarcane syrup
Fructo oligosaccharides are soluble dietary fiber that represent one
of the main bifidogenic oligosaccharide classes. They composed of
a series of homologous oligosaccharides with β --(2 → 1) fructosyl
fructose glycosidic bonds. Part of the fructose chains are
terminated by glucose units with the Degree of Polymerization (DP)
mainly between 2 and 8
